Our Story
In our Grotto family, we celebrate good times together, and we support one another in hard times. As many of you know, we experienced the loss of our son, William Bear Chambers at birth and his short life changed the way I do life.
Our experience has inspired us to give back to the community in a meaningful way. This page is dedicated to various initiatives we do in honour of Bear.

Events
When: June 2, 2024 from 7-9pm
Where: Grotto Hair Studio
Event Overview: On June 2nd, we will be hosting “A Walk to Remember,” a special event to celebrate and honour our children gone too soon, as well as to support those who have experienced pregnancy, infant, and child loss. Please let those in your life, who may want to attend an event such as this to reach out and join us.

When: October 15, 2024 from 7-9pm
Where: Grotto Hair Studio
Event Overview: We host the annual A Wave of Light event to observe and remember those who have lost children gone too soon. We signify this by lighting candles creating a continuous wave of light across time zones to honoir and remember the lives of infants lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, and other forms of infant death.
