Why Hairstyling? The beauty industry has always been a passion of mine. I became very independent at a young age with styling my own hair. It’s so amazing how we can change our entire look with just a haircut or hair colour. I’m so fortunate to have a career that encourages creativity, and also is so rewarding at the end of the day. I am a strong advocate for self care!

What is your favourite thing to do as a stylist? I definitely have the most fun with colouring. I tend to attract a lot of blondes because of my own hair colour.

What’s made you the stylist that you are today? Experience is so important. Most of what we know could not be read in a book, or taught by one person. Being willing to learn, be educated, and try new things is how we grow. That isn’t always easy, but is necessary in our line of work. We are constantly challenged, and that has given me the confidence I have today!

The ideal clientele: I really enjoy the variety of personalities and hair types that come and sit in my chair!
